The Friendship Clause

When Vi was a little girl, she was told that friendship was like a contract. It was unbreakable. Had loopholes. Had signatures.

Had clauses.

So when she met Ryan Turner, she instantly wrote up a very real and very binding contract of friendship.

The only clause is: if you fall in love with the person aforementioned in the contract, you wait one year. If feelings persist, you must tell them.

When Vi develops feelings for Turner, she bites her tongue and breaks the single clause of their friendship.

Zaji

That guy who just saved your life?
He isn't a superhero.

He's a Zaji.

Born with the ability to learn powers and use them to aid the world.

What has this got to do with you?
You're a Zaji too.

I love this story and I can't wait to get into it. It has some fun potential, if I can plot it out right.

Fire is a Wave - Elemental Series Book One

Fire is a Wave
"You just set me on fire and you want to know how I defended myself?" He asked her incredulously.

Davalyn tries pretty hard to just do her thing and get through college, but with the ability to play with fire that plan is undeniably difficult.

After she accidentally sets a guy on fire, a series of events fall on her in a domino effect. Not only does she meet others with abilities like her, but also finds out she is meant for much more than just becoming a marine biologist.

Progress: The first chapter is over 500 words complete. I am writing this as I write everything else and none is posted yet, but I cannot wait to get this story rolling!

Bad Reputations

This was inspired because me and some friends talked about the bad boy cliche and all that. I wanted to give it a shot and based the beginnings of Alek on my best friend. It all went from there. It is a definite work in progress, my writing has gotten better as I write every chapter and I'm now to the point that I can't wait to finish the book so I can rewrite it, because I think it has real potential.

Jay Allen can't escape her life anymore than she already tries. Her best friends are the resident 'bad boys' of the town, her mother is distant, her dad is sick and she has no hopes for a love life. She is just desperately trying to get to the end of the school year without breaking down, and Alek and Nicah are more than happy to help her get to that ending. However, life has a way with ruining plans and best intentions.
Her father gets sicker, her mother has a surprise, Alek is acting distant, and she's met a guy who won't tell her who he is, but to say he's swept her off her feet would be an understatement.
Jay isn't sure she can handle anything else the year throws at her.

I took a year off from writing and I realize I suck. 2014 was one of the shittiest years of my life, so give me a break. I've written a small bit in 2015 but hopefully I can swing it and get to writing more.

Someday

Working Blurb:

“Someday can’t come soon enough.”

We all live in a world of ‘somedays’, so what makes Jase any different?

His class.

When he enrolled in a philosophy class, he never quite thought he’d be in for the project of his life. A project full of ‘somedays’ that come true.

-------------
This is an idea I just got while talking to my very distressing friend. I always think about how someday she will get away from the shit she gets in, and then I had the thought "Someday can't come soon enough." and there we have it.

Another story idea.

Shoot me.

Tell me what you think of it, and here is a rough draft (I changed it a lot, it's much better than what is below.) of a scene I wrote:

The Professor walked into the large room and stared at each student before writing the word 'Someday' in big scrawling letters. He turned back to the confused students.

"We're trying something new. We all say it once in our life at least. Someday I'll do this, or someday we'll do that. Usually its something important that we want but will never admit how much. Think of a someday, and tell us out loud." The class glanced nervously around, before settling into a silent tension. The Professor cleared his throat.
"Nobody gets out of this, it's part of your grade, so I suggest you guys start talking."

A girl called out hesitantly, "Someday, I'll travel the world and get away from everything here."

"Someday, I'll know what it feels like to fulfill my dreams," a guy yelled out.

"I'll graduate and help people, like my grandfather; someday." The boy spoke clearly, but quietly.

"Someday, I'll find my mom and we will be reunited." A girl in the back called out hesitantly.

A guy in the front of the class leaned back, his face painted in interest. He snorted loud enough to catch the attention of the Professor. When he raised his eyebrows in question, the guy mused out loud for the class to hear.

"Someday can't come soon enough."
